virtual.legal is a resource site dedicated to digital media and the law by Gordon Finlayson.

Gordon Finlayson is a leading international media lawyer and has held senior executive roles with some of the World’s leading media companies. Previous jobs include European General Counsel for HBO; General Counsel for Showtime Arabia; and General Counsel, International for Zee, India’s largest broadcaster.

Gordon started his career in technology journalism and worked as the Australian editor for pioneering tech platform CNET. He also spent a number of years running independent electronic music label Clan Analogue.

Gordon is a qualified lawyer in Australia and the UK, has a law degree from the University of NSW, masters in law from University College London and a Certificate in Global Management from INSEAD.
